Film Wedding Photography: More than a trend
Film photography is coming back in a big way, and I couldn't be happier. Film forces you to take it slow, allowing you to truly appreciate and take in every moment together.
Film adds a timeless and nostalgic quality to each of your images, one that simply can't be replicated with digital cameras or editing presets. Colors are more vibrant, emotions are more truthfully captured, and a little grain never hurt no one.

That's up to you. If you're just doing a film add-on, I usually suggest at least 4 rolls. One for the morning/getting ready, portraits, ceremony, and reception. Rolls can be added a la carte if you want more!
This depends on a few things. A 5-pack of 120 film is $80, and one roll of 35mm film goes for $8-$16, plus there is the cost of developing, scanning ($18/roll), and of course, paying a photographer who can shoot film. Expenses usually total about $1200-$4000 for an all-film shoot/wedding.
This is also up to you! I recommend a few of each, this way you get the best of both worlds.
Obviously each camera has limitations, but with the right skillset, it's possible to shoot in (almost) every environment. I have plenty of off-camera light, high-ISO (aka light-sensitive) film, and great knowledge of natural lighting. The only *real* setback is not being able to do rapid-fire shooting. Since every image costs money, you have to really slow down and choose wisely about which moments are photo-worthy.
I never turn down an opportunity to travel. I live in North Jersey (think: Sopranos) and only charge for locations more than 2 hours from NYC. Each destination is different, and I'll never make you pay for more than it would be for me to spend a night or two in the area (plus a flight, if necessary).
