questions about film coverage? let's chat

Film photography is coming back in a big way, and I couldn't be happier. Film forces you to take it slow, allowing you to truly appreciate and take in every moment together.

Film adds a timeless and nostalgic quality to each of your images, one that simply can't be replicated with digital cameras or editing presets.

My time in photo school has allowed me to see every wedding day as an opportunity to create some beautiful photographs for my couples and their friends & families.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many rolls of film will you use/we receive?
That's up to you, I usually suggest at least 4 rolls. One for the morning/getting ready, portraits, ceremony, and reception. Rolls can be added a la carte if you want more!

How much does film cost?
This depends on a few things. A 5-pack of 120 film is $80, and one roll of 35mm film goes for $8-$16, plus there is the cost of developing, scanning ($18/roll), and of course, paying a photographer who can shoot film.

Do you shoot with black and white or color film?
This is also up to you! I recommend a few of each, this way you get the best of both worlds.

What are the limitations with film photography?
Obviously each camera has limitations, but with the right skillset, it's possible to shoot in (almost) every environment. I have plenty of off-camera light, high-ISO (aka light-sensitive) film, and great knowledge of natural lighting.

What is your editing process?
True to life colors, with a little bit of umph. I also pay special attention to exit signs, street signs, hair flyaways, and other general distracting elements.
