Wedding photography pricing varies greatly depending on your location, event size, and the experience of the photographer. In the NYC area, you can expect to spend between $5k-$10k on wedding photography.
This is a personal preference, and there are plenty of photographers with varying styles and approaches. My specific focus is on photojournalism, with plenty of editorial-style portraits.
This answer will depend on your budget and guest size. I recommend 2 photographers if you're hosting more than 150 guests, or if you and your partner both want full getting ready coverage.
My go-to wedding photography lens is my Canon RF 28-70 F2.0. I can honestly photograph an entire wedding with just this lens. It's perfect for details, portraits, large group photos, and dance floor shots.
Depending on your timeline, 6 hours may be enough. However, I always recommend starting with at least 8 hours. This will get you from the last hour of getting ready to at least the first hour or so of your reception.
