Danielle and Lou began prepping for their wedding at the enchanting Crest Hollow Country Club, with Lou and his groomsmen suiting up near the venue, and Danielle and her girls at her parents’ home in Long Island. Of course, incomplete without a toast.
Danielle grew up in Long Island, but Lou’s many friends and family came all the way from Australia to see the two wed. The couple met in college in Miami, and I was lucky enough to meet them during their engagement shoot in Central Park last year.
Since they are getting married in the bride’s hometown, there’s no better place to make their wedding come to life than at the Crest Hollow Country Club.
It was all joy and pure delight upon the big reveal of Danielle’s beautiful Kleinfeld dress and glove combo, and the bridesmaids look nothing short of stunning against the backdrop of Crest Hollow Country Club’s outside area.
Crest Hollow Country Club has been a huge part of LI’s social scene since 1974, so it’s no surprise that this is where Long Island native Danielle would choose for her wedding. If you’re considering this venue, rest assured that Crest Hollow’s high standards mean its guests will celebrate an occasion that’s been personalized and perfected.
Danielle dazzles in all of her portraits. And now I’m kind of forever obsessed with accessorizing with see-through gloves.

The bride has a very heartwarming first look with dad, as he’s presented with a letter and a gift.

Walking down the aisle for the ceremony was the first time Lou saw Danielle in her wedding day getup. A few weeks prior to the wedding day, Danielle’s father broke his femur. In order to still walk her down the aisle, D’s mom & brother helped walk them to the ceremony. I’m not crying, you are!!
Confetti poppers creating a magical, unforgettable moment.
I broke the flash out for many of the outside portraits post-ceremony, as the sun was
just about to set. There was no first look, so keep this in mind when constructing your timeline that you might miss cocktail hour in order to do couple portraits.
Every inch of Crest Hollow Country Club presented the perfect mix of magic and
modern. There’s something here for everybody, whether it’s a gorgeous wedding like
this, a sweet 16, or a bar mitzvah. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
And if you know me, you know I had to include some film in the gallery.
Sometimes there just simply isn’t enough time on the wedding day to get everything you need photo-wise. And that’s okay! There are only SO many hours in a day, especially when we just have an 8 hour window. In this case, D+L & I decided to take an hour or two on another day to get any other photos they wanted. It was such a fun, low pressure shoot, and I have so many new favorites!
