Ariana and Andrew’s Guastavino’s New York City Wedding
Ariana and Andrew had a very NYC autumn wedding; with Guastavino’s being the venue to host the day.
We started this rainy day at the Park Lane hotel and were able to sneak some first look portraits there as well. I say “sneak” because this particular hotel requires a permit for any photography on the premises. Keep that in mind if you’re planning on being here for your own wedding!
Once at the venue, we finished up all the wedding party and family photos and still had time to squeeze in a ceremony rehearsal. Then it was ketubah signing time, and on with the ceremony.
The spread at cocktail hour was generous, and Ariana and Andrew got a peek at the room before guests took their seats. I always recommend doing this just to have an extra moment alone in the space you worked so hard to bring to life.
Reception entertainment was incredible and performed a seamless blend of Jewish and Persian music; the dancing – and crowd surfing – was non-stop. The night came to a close with pizza from Joe’s.
